Taylors 20 Years Twany Port

Tawny Ports are delicious, delicate old wines which benefit from being slightly chilled, especially in warm weather. Equally, they may be served after a meal, or even during it- tawnies have the character to stand up to strong flavors, or such rich tastes as foie gras.

A magnificent and finely-balanced tawny of outstanding richness and complexity. The 20 years of aging produces a fine balance between the rich, raisiny fruit and the nutty, honeyed finish - a taste to linger over. This rare port is traditionally enjoyed as a dessert wine or at the end of the meal.

Tasting note:
Intens amber tawny colour. Opulent and voluptuous nose of complex spicy, jammy and nutty aromas, hints of orange flower and a fine oakiness coming from the long period of agin in cask. The papate is full of very rich and concentrated flavor and has a long mellow finish.
